Ug! It has been so long since I posted! Our Internet is a little touch-and-go, but as long as I'm in a very specific spot I can use the Internet to my hearts content. So, hello! I hope everyone's Easter was enjoyable. Isaiah and I had a good, relaxing time. The Easter holiday always makes me thankful, joyful too, but always thankful. I felt inclined to take pictures of the things that bring me joy and thankfulness.. you know, the little things. Here is my compilation of those little daily reminders to tell God, "thanks."

Our fridge, decked out with photos, lists, cards, etc. all to remind me of the love I am surrounded by each day.
Isaiah cooking a well balanced meal : )

Our view (well 1/3 of it anyway).

Our dining room; the place where many meals with friends and family have been shared.

Isaiah killing spiders. Get them babe!

Flowers.. of course!

My clean (yes, it really is clean) art area.

What's brown and sticky? A stick... and our curtain rod... my latest home improvement project. : )

Ahh.. the color red.

I love this post! I just had to smile when I saw your table! Oh the memories I have sitting there, drinking coffee, reading books by Ken Howell among others, and sharing meals together! We miss you two so much! Thanks for the call! It made my day!
XOXO

Hey Rachel!! It's been such a long time since I've spoken with you. I've been reading your blog for a couple months and I don't think I've ever posted anything.... isn't that called lurking? :) Just wanted to stop my silence and let you know that I love hearing about your life since I can't be a part of it. Love you lots!! Teresa

Jen, I am sooo looking forward to Blooms Day! Tomorrow I'm running 4.5 miles and next weekend I'll do 6 or 7, we'll see -- and that will be the extent of my training. What do you think?? Anyway, Isaiah and I are stoked about seeing you! Thanks in advance for lovingly welcoming us into your new home :)

Teresa!
Girl, how are you! I miss you guys! How's that blasted Cali weather treating you? It was 64 degrees today, and I don't how many girls I saw sporting the mini skirt & crop-top combo. Ug, come on we seriously can't be that out of touch with warm weather! Anyway, great to know you're around. Say hi to your hubby!

Words can't express how happy I am that we're running Bloomsday together! Were you able to get signed up in the 1:15 division? I haven't done any LONG runs, so I think we'll totally be on the same page (I could walk and still love my life b/c you'll be with me)!!!
What time do you think you'll roll into town?
